This in-progress typeface is a digitization of the Adler Universal 39 typewriter shown in Stanley Kubrick’s The Shining. The face takes into account the physicality of ink bleed and paper texture in its rounded corners and inflated terminals, while maintaining an even weight with the occasional ink trap.
